Features and differences
The shredder has 2 cutting sizes to meet the specific needs of each herd.
The smaller cutting size is suitable for preparing feed for goat and sheep herds.
In this case, the equipment operates with 2 cutting systems, with 2 horizontal blades and 8 vertical blades.
The larger cutting size is ideal for preparing feed for cattle herds, in which case the vertical blades need to be removed by loosening the mounting screws.
Belt drive power transmission.
Body built of 4.25-mm-thick sheet metal.
Cutting blades made of special steel.
Motor maintenance: First change after the first 5 hours of operation and every 25 operating hours thereafter, with air filter maintenance.
Comes with: 1 grain funnel (13-liter capacity), 5 screens (4 fixed in the box and 1 “O” smooth screen inside the shredder) and 1 manual kit.
Finish: Anti-corrosion treatment on all parts subject to oxidation and painted with polyester powder coating polymerized in a 220°C furnace, ensuring a longer lasting finish.
Warranty: 12 months (3 months legal warranty, 9 months special TRAPP warranty).
Application:
Indicated for the same application, with the advantage of chopping grass, sorghum, manioc and other leguminous forage, in addition to grinding corn with straw and ear, making porridge and cornmeal.
